The roll states a current market value for every property, which is present financial detail about living owners: no value is transcribed into this model and the document itself is not published on this site. Three cautions about reading it, all established against the PDF itself rather than assumed. (1) A BLANK PORTION COLUMN MEANS THE REMAINDER, not the original granted farm - farm 12 blank is 5004.7 ha against a granted farm of about 12992 ha. (2) The addresses 6930 and 6573 Prince Albert RD are the ABSENCE of a name, on 285 of the 654 rows. (3) The address field sometimes carries the OCCUPIER or the institution rather than a place - Avondrust Boerdery, Bothma Handelaars, Zeekoegat Skool, Telkom Leeu Gamka. TWO DEFECTS IN THE SOURCE: the roll drops the letter e-diaeresis, printing Dro Kloof for Droe Kloof (farm 124 RE) and Vo Lfontein for Voelfontein (farm 213 RE) - verified in the PDF content stream, plain WinAnsi Helvetica, so the gap is in the document and not in any text extraction; and the roll contradicts itself, spelling farm 12 Rietfontein on two rows and Rietefontein on a third, and Antjesfontein on farm 14 against Antjiesfontein on farm 24. It is good evidence for what ground is called in 2023. It is not evidence about 1841.
