The citation as it was given

Supplied by to test whether the Ockert Almeros are duplicates. IT DOES BETTER THAN THAT - it proves a FamilySearch misattachment on Frans's own direct line. VERBATIM: deceased CHARLES FREDERICK OOSTHUIZEN, born Prince Albert, aged SIXTY-ONE YEARS EIGHT MONTHS, farmer, of Old Town, Klerksdorp; FATHER: OCKERT ALMERO OOSTHUIZEN (deceased); MOTHER: ALETTA CATHARINA OOSTHUIZEN (BORN HITGE), widow, Prince Albert; married, surviving spouse MARTHA MARIA OOSTHUIZEN (born Slisser[?]) in community of property; place of last marriage BETHULIE, O.F.S.; died 9 May 1930 in hospital, Klerksdorp. CHILDREN: (1) Ockert Almero Oosthuizen, major; (2) Cornelis Johannes Oosthuizen, major; (3) Aletta Catharina Oosthuizen, major; (4) Charles Frederick Oosthuizen, born 16/6/1912. The eldest son and eldest daughter are named for the deceased's own parents, exactly as the vernoemingspatroon of 5b predicts.

Kept verbatim. This project contradicts published genealogies and corrects a family's own oral tradition, so every claim has to be checkable by someone who was not in the room.
