The citation as it was given
Pottas was asking the list for help on three unmarried sons. The value to us is the rest of it: the full sibling set of the root couple with baptism dates and spouses, the couple's own parents, and archival citations (KAB MOOC 6/9/81.5024 for Adriana Cecilia Venter, MOOC 6/9/476.1897 for J.D.J. Oosthuizen, MOOC 7/1/316.5 for Cornelis Andries, VAB O219 for Adriana Cecilia jnr). Secondary and 21 years old - used to CORROBORATE and to fill gaps, never to overwrite. Cross-checked child by child against the private family tree, 29 Jul 2026: the two agree throughout except where noted.
