[11 Aug 2026, SRC-391] Imported 11 Aug 2026 as a SIBLING of a direct ancestor, with a FamilySearch id so the row can be re-checked against the live tree. Name, dates and the family link only. NO PLACE IMPORTED: the tree's place strings are systematically wrong and are not evidence. A HALF-SIBLING: a child of Carel Aaron's SECOND marriage, to Anna Wilhelmina BothaM. HIS DEATH NOTICE IS HELD (SRC-390): he died at 24 on 10 December 1857 "op Tigerkloof, op den Plaats van Hendrek Bota", was born at Welbedag, was a Boer, and left two minor sons, Karel Aaron and Hendrek. The notice names both his parents, which is what proves this second marriage independently of the tree. LEAD-0162.
