Research notes

[3 Aug 2026, SRC-215] A 2016 consolidation of the two BOTERKRAAL portions of JANSEN'SKRAAL NO. 104 - Portion 2 (Boter Kraal, our PAR-000058) and Portion 3 (Boterkraal Oost). So the ground the Swanepoels farmed for six generations, and sold in the Depression with the mineral rights reserved out, is now half of this farm.

The research behind this page, kept separate from it: dated working notes, open questions, and what is not yet settled.

What the record is missing

Found by breaks.py reading the model against itself, not written by hand, each one is a shape of missing record, not a fault in the data. The whole set is on the questions page.
