DIRECT ANCESTOR - Frans's 7x-GREAT-grandmother, and the stammoeder. [SRC-094] The 1722 register writes her JANNETJE MARTENS. DATES CONFLICT: Frans's tree has her born 5 August 1673 and dying 1738; FamilySearch has 1679-1734. The 1946 armorial entry [SRC-097] says she came from GRYPSKERK IN GRONINGEN - which matters, because the tree separately attaches a GRIJPSKERKE IN ZEELAND to a supposed father-in-law (PER-000319), and two villages of nearly the same name in different provinces is precisely the confusion this project is built to catch. [TO VERIFY] MARRIAGE: about 1700 / about 1702 / 1703 depending on the source; a son baptised 23 December 1702 caps it at 1702. NAMING TEST: her second son MARTINUS and her third daughter JANNETJE place her own father as MAARTEN - which her patronymic surname MAARTENS already says - and her mother as ANNA, from the first daughter. A small independent confirmation that this family used the pattern strictly, which is what licenses the same test on her husband's side.
