The citation as it was given
INDEX ENTRY, NOT THE PAGE. Sebella Aletta Sophia Mostert, BIRTH 29 JULY 1863, baptised 17 December 1863 at Calvinia. Parents HENDRIK JACOBUS MOSTERT and MAGDALENA ELIZABETH BASSON. IT GIVES HER PARENTS, which this model did not hold, and it moves her birth: the model carried 8 September 1863 from the tree. Her own 1942 sterfkennis (SRC-403) gives her age as 79 years 3 months on 13 November 1942, which computes to about 13 August 1863 - between the two, and closer to July than to September. The register index is preferred. The register writes SEBELLA, as the 1894 baptism of her daughter does (SRC-398); this model carries SIBELLA. Both are kept.
Kept verbatim. This project contradicts published genealogies and corrects a family's own oral tradition, so every claim has to be checkable by someone who was not in the room.
