"The above Diagram Represents the LOAN FARM DE RIET KUYL including Government ground annexed. Containing 14 379 MORGENS. Situated in the TRAKA FIELD CORNETCY BEAUFORT DISTRICT. SURVEYED FOR HERMANUS STEIN." ANOTHER 15 APRIL 1841 TITLE - Bf.W.Q. 3-35. That is the third farm this project can now put on the day STO-0007 is named for, after Klaarstroom 178 (P.A.Q. 5-8) and the 1841 grants already in the model. Note the different series: Bf.W.Q. is BEAUFORT WEST quitrent, and the sheet says Beaufort District, not Prince Albert - the boundary moved later. SAME SURVEYOR AND SAME ANNOTATION AS KLAARSTROOM. C.L. Stretch drew both in 1833, and on this one he writes "4 MORGEN ARABLE LAND" across the middle - the same note he made on Klaarstroom, where it was nine. Four morgen of ploughland in 14 379. Bounded N by VAN AARDES BAKEN (Van Aardsfontein, PAR-000064), S by Vleige Kraal, E by Muis Kraal, W by Government ground. The Kouka River and the Scheffers-gate River cross it, and Commandi Kraal and Eve's Kraal are named on the ground.
Kept verbatim. This project contradicts published genealogies and corrects a family's own oral tradition, so every claim has to be checkable by someone who was not in the room.
