- Two works by Helena Marincowitz, cited in the bibliography of SRC-010 without publisher or date: (1) 'Klaarstroom'; (2) 'Prince Albert en die Anglo-Boere Oorlog, 1899-1902'. Ask the Prince Albert Museum or the Karoo Development Foundation. SPLIT THIS ROW into two sources once they are in hand.
The citation as it was given
NOT YET READ - recorded so it is not lost. A MARINCOWITZ writing this district's own history, and cited twice by the Klaarstroom cameo. Given that the Marincowitz line is one of this project's three families and that Gerolm's arrival, the Vrolykheid homestead and the 1901 raid all turn on local knowledge, this is likely the single most valuable unread secondary source for the project. Track down through the Prince Albert Museum or the Karoo Development Foundation.
Kept verbatim. This project contradicts published genealogies and corrects a family's own oral tradition, so every claim has to be checkable by someone who was not in the room.
