[11 Aug 2026, SRC-389] THE SECOND WIFE OF PER-000762, and a person this model did not hold. She shares his gravestone in the Brandvlei main cemetery: "Van der Merwe FJW en MME geb Zandberg", read by eGGSA as "MERWE Frans J.W., van der 1863-1956 & Maria M.E. ZANDBERG 1878-1963". SHARING A STONE IS NOT A MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE, but the reading is strong: his first wife Christina Elisabeth NelM died in 1895, he lived another 61 years, and the woman beside him is 15 years his junior and buried with him under his surname. She outlived him by seven years. ONLY HER INITIALS ARE KNOWN. The stone gives M.M.E.; no full given names, no marriage date, no parents, no children. [TO VERIFY]
