Research notes

[31 Jul 2026 inbox] Took transfer of part of a portion of Roode Els Bosch and Oorlogs Kloof on 21 Jun 1879, deed 416, diagram 818/1879, per the consolidation list on DOC-0113. INITIAL ONLY - deliberately NOT matched. Candidates alive and plausibly adult in 1879 include PER-000020 Ger(H)olm Marincowitz (1805-1890, aged 74), PER-000189 Gerolm Stephanus Johannes (b.1850), PER-000190 George Conrad (b.1852) and PER-000056 Gerolm Samuel (undated). Per 9 a person is never matched on a name alone; deed 416 of 1879 would name him in full. [TO VERIFY]
