BORN IN THE LAND VAN WAVEREN (Tulbagh), 17 Sep 1766 - the generation between the Kweekvallei de Beers and the field cornet. The de Beer presence in Tulbagh in the same decades as the Oosthuizens is the evidence for the friends-before-the-move question.
