Announced by the Minister of Mineral and Petroleum Resources. In November 2025 the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment released DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATIONS for onshore oil and gas - well design and integrity, chemical disclosure, wastewater management, monitoring and enforcement - for thirty days of public comment. THIS IS THE ONLY THING ON THIS SITE THAT HAS NOT FINISHED HAPPENING.
