Frederik Simon "Oom Frikkie" Oosthuizen dies and is buried beside his church

Aged 80, at the end of the year in which he made over the Zeekoegat land and buildings to the congregation. Buried in the Zeekoegat churchyard; his wife Martha Maria Susanna (d. 3 May 1918) and their small son Hendrik (d. 8 December 1884) were re-interred there from the Zwartskraal farm cemetery at the same time. Fourteen months later three farms went into his daughter Anna Margaretha's name (EVT-000177).
