THE LAST TIME THIS FAMILY APPEARS IN THE GRAAFF-REINET ENTRIES GATHERED HERE (the register itself has not been read end to end, so this is a statement about this collection, not about the register): two years and four months later the next child is baptised at Beaufort West. The wider family standing witness here makes the move look like a household one rather than a lone trek.
