Die sitasie soos dit gegee is
"The above diagram coloured green represents the REMAINING PORTION of the farm KLAARSTROOM in extent 3413 MORGEN 140 SQUARE ROODS situate in the Zwartberg." So of the 6 498 morgen surveyed in 1833, about 3 085 had been cut away by 1886. Bounded North by CROWNLAND, South by WELGEMOND & VROLYKHEID, East by VROLYKHEID, West by MIDDLEWATER - and RONDABLE is drawn beyond the crownland to the north. Four of the farms this project follows ring it. IT CORRECTS A READING ON THE 1833 SHEET. There I transcribed a faint endorsement as "P.H. du Plessis & 2 others P.A. Q.3-30, 18 Aug. 1836". This diagram is titled P.A.Q. 3-20 of 18.8.1886 and is expressly the REMAINDER - the same word, the same day and month, the same du Plessis. The 1833 endorsement is almost certainly recording THIS 1886 title, and my "1836" was a misreading of 1886. [TO VERIFY against the original, but the two sheets fit] LOT A is 7 morgen 188 square roods (rectilinear 7 mg 215, less 27 for the river boundary) and LOT B is 9 MORGEN 167 SQUARE ROODS - which is exactly Portion 1, the arable, off SRC-224. Lot C and a Portion 4 are also drawn. | The BACK of this sheet is read at SRC-233.
Woordeliks gehou. Hierdie projek weerspreek gepubliseerde genealogieë en stel 'n familie se eie mondelinge oorlewering reg, so elke bewering moet nagegaan kan word deur iemand wat nie in die vertrek was nie.
