Die plaas waar die papier en die mense verskil. Stretch se opmeting van 1833 dra al klaar die name van gedeeltes wat eers 'n eeu later gesny word; twee titels gaan op een dag in 1841 uit, een aan 'n Oosthuisen en een aan 'n 'N. Hitge' wie se akte deur vier latere gedeeltes aangehaal word; 'n Triëstenaar trou in 1844 met 'n Hitge en hou die plaas toe hy in 1890 sterf; en 'n sterfkennis sit die Hitges uiteindelik self op die grond.

A CONSOLIDATION OF FOUR PIECES, as the sheet itself lists: (1) eastern part of Klipfontein to B.L. Steyl, 28 Oct 1897, deed 9076, dgm 2127/1897; (2) remainder of Lot C of Roode Els Bosch and Oorlogs Kloof to B.L. Steyl, 14 Jul 1902, deed 1027, dgm 2662/1902; (3) southern part of Schurfte Kopjes to N.J.
