Supplied by while testing whether Johannes Petrus Oosthuizen (FS KZLR-PR5) is the Petrus Oosthuizen of Klaarstroom. VERBATIM: 'Oosthuisen | Susanna Elisabeth Carolina, geb. 14 April 1825, ged. 14 August 1825. Ouders: JOHANNES PETRUS OOSTHUISEN, MARIA ELISABETH SELIE. Getuigen: Willem Johannes Holt, SUSANNA CATHARINA OOSTHUISEN, JACOBUS OOSTHUISEN & Carolina Verbo[?].' The witnesses corroborate the FamilySearch family group FROM THE REGISTER: Susanna Catharina Oosthuisen is his sister (FS LHXV-BW2, 1796-1834) and Jacobus is very likely his brother Jacobus Christiaan (FS KZR9-F5Q, 1790-1855). ALSO ON THE OPENING, and worth recording: TWINS - Catharina Petronella and Elisabeth Johanna, both geb. 24 July 1825 and ged. 14 August 1825, the second entered as 'ouders als boven' and marked 'Twee', to Johannes Willem Oosthuisen x Elisabeth Johanna VAN TONDER, witnesses Andries van Tonder and Fredrik Johannes van Tonder. Van Tonder is the root ancestor's own grandmother's family (Susanna Catharina van Tonder, FS LC7N-L43). Further Oosthuizen households on the same opening: Gert Oosthuisen x Justine Wilhelmina Fourie; Jacobus Oosthuisen x Magdalena Christina van der Berg, with Nicolaas Jacobus Oosthuisen and Adriaan Oosthuisen as witnesses.
