CHECKED RATHER THAN IMPORTED. All seventeen people on these two pages were ALREADY in this model with their FamilySearch ids, so nothing was created. Three rows gained a date they were missing and nothing else changed. IT CORROBORATES THE 1987 MEMOIR ON THE POINT THAT MATTERS. Trudie's typescript says her mother's father was kin to a president; his household here holds BOTH candidate surnames - his wife is MAGDALENA MARIA KRUGER, and their son born 1911 is JACOBUS ABRAHAM SMUTS WALTERS. The Kruger is a wife and the Smuts is a given name, which is the pattern this record uses for a surname carried out of the ancestry. LEAD-0164. ONE CHILD OF THE VAN RENSBURG MARRIAGE IS MARKED LIVING on FamilySearch and is flagged living=1 here, so she is suppressed from any publication regardless of the family exemption. That is the rule working as intended and it is noted so nobody 'corrects' the empty dates.
