Navorsingsnotas
[31 Jul 2026 inbox] Named on SG dgm 388/1816 (DOC-0074), Vrolykheid No. 61, Tulbagh. The VELDCORNET: the farm lay 'in 't Veld cornetschap van D. T. Theron G.S.' The suffix G.S. is a patronymic (Gerrit/Gideon se seun) and is identifying data - it is what separates him from the D.T. Theron F.Z.M on the northern boundary. INITIALS ONLY - deliberately NOT matched to anyone in the tree. Matters beyond Tulbagh: the model already carries 19 Therons, and Theron is one of the two surnames that bridge otherwise separate parts of this network.
These are working notes, not finished prose: they carry the reasoning, the corrections and the things still marked to verify. They are kept here so the page itself can read as what is known.
