Navorsingsnotas

Onderverdelings: Ged. 1, kaart 1616/65, 332.8297 morgen, akte 25467/65, opmetingstukke E380/65. Remainder 2371.4336 morg. 2704.2633 - 332.8297 = 2371.4336 exactly, so the front and the verso reconcile to four decimal places.

[5 Aug 2026, verso-date sweep] Own content dates given, per 8. The onderverdelings table on this back is Gedeelte 1 off kaart 1616/65 against akte 25467/65 and survey record E380/65 - all 1965, all later than the 3883/56 front. The gate withheld it anyway through the image_edtf fallback, so nothing was published that should not have been; but a row that is right by accident is a row nothing is watching. Now it reads its own newest ink.

[5 Aug 2026] publish_ok=yes. THE SHEET WAS OPENED AND READ, AND IT NAMES NOBODY. One line, in Afrikaans: opmetingstukke E.380/65, kaart 1616/65, Gedeelte 1, grootte 332.8297 morgen, akte 25467/65, remainder 2371.4336 morg. That is the whole of it: portion numbers, portion NAMES, extents in morgen and square roods, diagram numbers, survey-record numbers, deed numbers and dates. Not one person appears on it. The 1936 scan cut-off exists because a JPEG is opaque to every text check in leak_tests.py, so a document's DATE is the only proxy available for whether the sheet names a living person. On a deduction table that proxy measures the wrong thing: the table is a record of GROUND, and withholding it withholds the farm's own history to protect nobody. Same decision, same reason and same mechanism as DOC-0081 on 3 Aug, when [FAMILY] I was talking about the old farm diagrams only. The date fields stay as they are, because the row has to state what is on the paper and the earlier inheritance from the front was simply wrong. What changes is that the release is now a decision somebody took after looking at the sheet, which is the only thing publish_ok has ever been for.

[5 Aug 2026] publish_ok WITHDRAWN, same day it was set, and the reason is worth keeping. The back was read and names nobody - one Afrikaans onderverdelings line, Gedeelte 1, 332.8297 morgen, akte 25467/65. But this is not an old farm diagram held back by a later endorsement: its FRONT, DOC-0162, is a consolidated survey of 1950-56, and leak_tests bounds the publish_ok escape to sheets surveyed before 1942 precisely so that the escape can only widen publication in the direction it was argued for. A modern diagram can name the person it was framed for in its own title block, and DOC-0162 has not been read. Leaving it withheld rather than arguing past a control that is doing its job. To release it, read the front first.
